The fundamentals of acting: Further your knowledge about analyzing a text, how to build a character, audition etiquette.Whether you are a novice or are seasoned, this is the the acting workshop for you. Instructor: Dr. Shirlene Holmes. Dr. Holmes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at Georgia State University where she has been teaching acting classes for 20 years! She has more than 3 decades of experience in performance, actor training, writing plays and directing for the stage. Many of her students and alums are working professionals in the city of Atlanta and in various parts of the country. Dr. Holmes is also available for commissions and private acting coaching.
